How to get to the Sea Garden House Hostel by BUS
3 hours from Guayaquil
Catch the direct bus to Montañita and Olón at the bus terminal of Guayaquil (Terminal terrestre).
Bus Company CLP.
Departing times (5:00, 6:00 and 9:00 am and 1:00, 3:00 and 4:30 pm). Cost $6.00.
You can also catch a bus to Santa Elena and then another bus from Santa Elena to Olón at any time during the day.
These buses are not as comfortable as the direct buses. The name of these buses are CITUP, MANGLARALTO or REALES TAMARINDO.
There are also regular buses from Puerto López and Manta further north.
How to get the Sea Garden House Hostel by CAR
By car:
2½ hours from Guayaquil
Follow the highway to the coast and, before arriving at Santa Elena, turn right at San Vicente town (not Baños de San Vicente) then follow the coastal road, Carretera de la Ruta del Spondylus, all the way to the north.
The town after Montañita is Olón. Once in Olón turn left at the first street after the soccer field and follow it to the beach. Once at the beach, the first house on the left, the red brick house, is our hostel .
